Food Vendor Information

 

 

BOOTH FEES :

 

I. Entry fees for food vendors are based on

 

of space provided as follows:

 

10 x 10 Fee $350.00

 

10x20 Fee $550.00

 

2. Each booth fee will have an additional $100.00 refundable clean up fee.

 

APPLICATION & ACCEPTANCE:

 

Complete the application and submit the below listed information to the Sanibell-Captiva Rotary Club prior to December 31, 2008:

 

1. A photo and dimensions of your food vendor booth.

 

2. Menu with food selections and their prices. You are only allowed to sell the food items submitted in this application.

 

3. Entry fee based on size of booth listed above. You will be refunded in full if you are not accepted for the fair.

 

4. Cleaning deposit fee of $100.00 which will be refundable per clean- up rules included in this application.

 

5. Certificate of Insurance per insurance requirement.

 

Notification of acceptance will be made on or before January 30,2009 to vendors chosen on Sanibel Arts and Crafts Fair visual appeal and menu criteria. Entry checks will be deposited when notification of acceptance is given. Once a vendor is accepted, no refunds will be issued.

 

INSURANCE:

 

Each vendor MUST provide a certificate of insurance \\lith the foJJO\ving wording for the additional insured:

 

Sanibel-Captiva Rotary Club, its legal agents, Sanibel Community Center, City of Sanibel, FL, and Lee County, 1"1" additional insured's for the Sanibel Island Arts and Crafts Fair February 14 and 15,2009, to be held at the Sanibel
 

Community Center located at 2173 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel, FL 33957.

 

General liability and product liability coverage are required with limits no less than $1,000,000. Certificates of Insurance must be sent WITH the entry tee and signed appliication.

 

PERMITS & TAXES:

 

Vendor is responsible f()r compliance with the guidelines as issued by the Florida Division of Hotels and Restaurants and the Department of Health. These agencies have the authority to close any food vendor not meeting requirements. The Sanibel-Captiva Rotary Club will not issue refunds due to such a closing. Each vendor is responsible for collection and payment of Florida Sales Tax for food product sales.

 

LIABILITY & SECURITY:

 

Sanibel-Captiva Rotary Club, the volunteers, Sanibel Community Center, City of Sanibel and Lee County, the sponsoring organizations, any other duly appointed representatives and their employees, agents and officers of each are not responsible for loss or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with this fair. In consideration of Sanibel-Captiva Rotary Club's acceptance of the vendor" s application, the vendor releases and forever discharges the above named groups and individuals from any personal responsibility.

 

Vendors are responsible for the security, protection and insurance of their own equipment and merchandise.

 

:FOOD VENDOR RULES:

 

I. Vendor agrees to occupy only his/her assigned space and remain open and staffed during the two day fair and it's hours of operation.

 

2. Vendor agrees to set-up, be operational and tear down at the times requested by Sanibel-Captiva Rotary Club. Failure to do so will result in the space being reassigned without any refunds.

 

3. Vendor agrees he/she is not allowed to sublet assigned space.

 

4. Vendor will provide all equipment necessary to provide service .... All items to be approved in advance by Sanibel-Captiva Rotary Club.

 

5. Vendor booth must be self-contained, including water, electricity, grease and trash removal. Noise control is of the up most concern to Sanibel-Captiva Rotary Club. All gasoline generators must be quiet during operation.

 

6. Vendor is responsible for all set-up, tear down and clean-up of his/her area.

 

7. Vendor area is to be kept neat, clean and orderly at all times. No dumping of liquids, water, grease or food is allowed. The use of storm drains is strictly prohibited. Vendor area will be inspected by Sanibel-Captiva Rotary Club official at the end of each fair day to determine the refund of the cleaning deposit. Failure to keep vendor area clean and follow the rules will result in forfeiture of the cleaning deposit. The determination of area clean-up will by Sanibel-Captiva Rotary Club and is final.

 

8. The vendor is responsible for any fines resulting from City of Sanibel and Lee County Code Violations.

 

9. Vendor may not sell or distribute any beverage product or any product that conflicts with any Sanibel-Captiva Rotary Club sponsor.
