The Sanibel-Captiva Rotary Club is proud to sponsor the 26th Annual Sanibel Island Arts and Crafts Fair.

Our show win be held at the Sanibel Community Center located at 2173 Periwinkle Way. In order to preserve the quality of our show, we limit those artists accepted to 100 An proceeds go to the Rotary Foundation for local scholarships to deserving youth and community needs.
Last years attendance was well over 7000 visitors.

THE FOLLOWING AWARDS WILL BE GIVEN IN THREE CATEGORIES:

2-Dimensional, 3- Dimensional, and. Creative Crafts
 

NOTE: This year cash prizes will accompany tile awards.

Judging: Panel. will be made up of three judges

SHOW DATES - SATURDAY & SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 14 & 15,2009

Friday:            12:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. - Pre set-up time
Saturday:       7:00 A.M. -9:00 A.M.   - Registration/setup
                                  9:00 A.M.          - Area cleared of all vehicles
                                 10:00A.M.          -Judging
                       10:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. - OPEN TO PUBLIC
Sunday:          10:00 A.M. - 4:00P.M.  -  OPEN TO PUBLIC

THREE DOLLAR SUGGESTED DONATION PER ADULT AT GATE (NON-EXHIBITORS)

I. FEES:

A. Jury fee: $30.00 (includes sales tax) for each entry
B. Exhibition fee: $250.00 for each entry (includes sales tax)
C. You may show only in the category in which you are accepted
D. Exhibitor fee(s) win be refunded/slides returned to non-accepted applicants
E. Make aU checks payable to Sanibel-Captiva Rotary Club
F. Make separate checks for Jllry and exhibition fees

2. SLIDES:

A. 4 current slides (from past year) including 1 of display, to be viewed by Selection jury for each category entered - PLUS 1 non-returnable photo of work to be kept on file with your application
B. Each slide must have applicant's name, category and marked with an arrow pointing to top
C. Slides mounted 2" x 2". They must not be taped together
D. Number slides 1- 4. #4 is to be of display. Describe on back of application.
E. Photographs instead of slides of your work will not be considered
F. Decisions of the Selection Jury are final.

3. DEADLINES:

A. Applications will not be accepted that are post-marked after October 1, 2008
B. Notice of acceptance will be mailed by November 15,2008 and published on our web site
When accepted your name and artwork will be posted on our web site www.sanibelrotary.org.
